If you are looking for an excellent esthetician that will be incredibly invested in your skincare journey, I’d highly recommend traveling the distance to McKinney and working with Allie.
Allie’s knowledge, attention to detail and careful consideration is like no other esthetician I have worked with. Each time I leave her space, I feel rejuvenated, glowing, hydrated, depuffed and hopeful.
When I developed rosacea during pandemic, I went down a rabbit hole trying to find solutions. I researched and met with dermatologists, estheticians, explored blood work, functional medicine doctors, took food sensitivity tests, stool tests. I wish I were kidding.
While I have been introduced to some great aestheticians along the way, I also found myself in the hands of professionals that made me feel uncomfortable and pressured into purchasing hundreds of dollars of product. Then, they would want me to schedule a slew of appointments in their office. Not cool.
What perturbed me the most was, these specific professionals had no problem making a sale, but they asked zero questions about my lifestyle– aka: Do you drink coffee? Drink alcohol? Have food sensitivities? Sleep? What are your stress levels like? Do you WASH your face after you workout?
While a good skincare line is important, especially for someone like me that has had sensitive skin my entire life, it is not the whole picture. I am Holistic Nutritionist. As someone that has studied nutrition for years, it is plain as day that there is a direct correlation between our gut health and the skin. In other words, no dollar amount of skincare products is going to be The Solution. So why pretend it is?
When I was introduced to Allie, it took just minutes in her care to realize she totally got it.
Allie aims to make glowing skin possible, regardless of your story, fusing holistic healing with the best and most advanced facial technology.
“Healthy skin doesn’t just come from great skincare products and treatments. It’s also the summation of what you fuel your body with, your lifestyle and your habits.”–Allie Nicole
She digs deep, asking questions along the way to create a tailored experience designed for you.
We chat about everything from trigger foods, to how to go about healing the gut lining, all without judgment and laughing about our lack of willpower around a french fry.
“My goal is to help you understand why you’re experiencing various skin conditions and provide long term solutions, not just “band-aid solutions.”–Allie Nicole
She truly does just that. She spends hours researching solutions and information pertinent to your needs and I am never surprised when I get a text from her about something she read, or just to check in.
To add to her street cred– Allie worked for celebrity esthetician, Joanna Czech for two years before moving to learn and grow with the Dr. Flora Kim of Flora Kim Dermatology in Highland Park and then embarking on her own.
She is an absolute gem of a person and the facial flies by.
Whether you are battling some specific skin woe, or just looking to stay forever young, we love her!
To learn more about working with Allie in person, or remotely, you can find her here!
She offers virtual consultations. 😉
Although, McKinney might not be right next door, the area her studio is located is absolutely adorable and fun to explore, grab a tea, or pickup some solid cowboy boots. Make a day of it. 😉 😉
